Power Plays record: 50-39

Heavy Money Line favorites: N/A

Oilers @ Canadiens – Canadiens Money Line (1.95 | -105)

We strongly recommend jumping on the line early for this play. Connor McDavid hit the 100 point plateau Saturday night so there’s a real possibility that the coaching staff decides to rest him as well as fellow superstar, Leon Draisaitl. Even if they dress, you can count on a limited workload for both players. Montreal on the other hand, needs a win to clinch a playoff spot and will likely throw the kitchen sink at the Oilers in order to take the pressure off for their final game on Wednesday.

What also plays into the Habs’ favor is the fact that the Oilers haven’t been able to muster up their usual amount of offence against them. Edmonton sees a decrease in their average Rush Chances, Forecheck Chances, and Rebound Chances versus Montreal when compared to their season totals against the division.

Josh Anderson should play a pivotal role in this one. He leads Montreal Individual Expected Goals For versus the Oilers as well as in Shots on Net (25), Slot Shots (16), Rush Chances (7), and Forecheck Chances (3). With the injuries piling up for the Bleu, Blanc, Rouge, we’ll need to see more of the same from Anderson if they want to come out on top tonight.
