Power Plays record: 27-22

Heavy Money Line favorites tonight: VGK (73.7%) | MIN (69.5%)

Wild @ Coyotes – Wild Money Line (1.67 | -150)

The Wild are riding a 4 game win streak heading into their matchup in the desert with the Yotes and as 69.5% Money Line favorites, we’re seeing a ton of value on them tonight. Minnesota is 6-1-0 against Arizona this season and have outplayed them in all areas.

The Wild see an increased number of Rush Chances and Slot Shots against the Coyotes all while generating the same average amount of Rebound Chances. (2.3 per game, good for 3rd in the league) Minnesota has also done a phenomenal job of defending in this series and all year long. The Wild sit atop the league in Forecheck Chances Against. Their D keeps it simple and doesn’t turn the puck over which prevents them from putting Cam Talbot and Kaapo Kahkonen in bad spots. Now is as good a time as any to get on the Wild wagon.

Predators @ Blackhawks – Predators Money Line (1.77 | -130)

Kevin Lankinen fever has subsided in Chicago and in fact, he should even be sidelined in tonight’s contest versus a Preds team that’s turned their season around. Despite their horrendous start, the Preds haven’t dropped a single game to the Hawks this year.

The Preds have been able to keep the Blackhawks offence in check by defending the cycle. The Preds allow an average of 8.7 Cycle Chances Against per game (ranks 10th) but that number drops to 6.5 against Chicago.

Nashville shouldn’t have any issues in this one as long as they can contain Patrick Kane and Alex Debrincat. That duo runs the league’s 7th ranked powerplay and have found ways to get to the slot against the Preds as they’ve combined for 12 Slot Shots and 16 Slot Pass Completions in six games against Smashville this year.
